Uncovering the story of the trees of Eden
Working in collaboration with Dawn Hurton, Education Officer for Carlisle Archive Centre, a range of archives relating to trees in Eden was identified which help tell the story of Eden's woodland over the last 300 years.

'Tree Whisperer' project offers free tree planting for community spaces in Eden.
We would love to hear from you if you are involved with a community group or space such as a school, care home, social club or charitable organisation and you would like to add some new trees to your grounds
The project is coming to a close but we are proud to have worked with 18 schools in Eden and over 600 different pupils who have enjoyed woodland, creative and archive sessions (and helped pupils plant over 300 trees too!). A small selection of pupils' work can be enjoyed
